Catchwise Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Policy governs subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, reactivations, taxes, and Catchwise-provided phone numbers. This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Catchwise Terms of Service.

1. Subscription Billing

Catchwise is offered as a subscription service unless a separate written agreement applies. Current prices, plan terms, trial terms, promotional terms, applicable taxes, and any usage-based charges are disclosed at checkout, within the application, on the website, or in a written agreement. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Catchwise provides renewal notices only where required by law or as otherwise explicitly disclosed. By subscribing, you authorize Catchwise and its payment provider to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for subscription fees, applicable taxes, add-ons, usage-based charges, and other disclosed amounts.

2. Taxes

Prices are tax-exclusive unless expressly stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout or invoicing. Catchwise may use Stripe Tax, Stripe, or another provider to calculate, collect, report, or remit applicable sales tax, use tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes where required or configured. Collected taxes are not operating revenue and may not be refundable once remitted or where refund is not permitted by applicable law or provider rules.

3. Trials and Promotions

Catchwise may offer trials, early-access pricing, founding-customer pricing, or other promotional offers. Promotions may be subject to limitations based on customer eligibility, plan, time period, signup channel, quantity, or other terms disclosed with the offer. Catchwise reserves the right to end or modify promotional offers for future customers at any time without prior notice. If you cancel and subsequently reactivate, the original promotional price may not be available unless Catchwise confirms otherwise in writing.

4. How to Cancel

You may cancel through the in-app cancellation flow where available. If the in-app cancellation flow is unavailable, you may contact support@catchwise.app. Only the business owner or another authorized account user may cancel an account. Deleting your payment method does not cancel your subscription.

5. Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation timing depends on the plan and in-app cancellation flow; however, some features may stop immediately after cancellation. Cancellation may stop or limit new lead capture, hosted form availability, embeddable form availability, email intake and forwarding processing, missed-call capture, SMS/text capture, owner notification emails, lead digest emails, auto-response features, support for active capture workflows, dashboard access, and account access. Partial billing periods are not prorated unless required by law or agreed in writing. You should promptly remove Catchwise hosted form links, embedded form code, email forwarding rules, phone number references, and other Catchwise-related configurations from your website, email systems, advertisements, directories, signatures, and customer-facing materials after cancellation. You remain responsible for any charges already incurred prior to cancellation. Taxes, carrier fees, usage fees, and provider pass-through charges incurred prior to cancellation remain owed and survive cancellation.

6. Catchwise-Provided Phone Numbers

If Catchwise has provisioned a dedicated capture number for your account, cancellation may schedule that number for release. Any applicable grace period will be disclosed in the application or in a written agreement. During a grace period, you may request reactivation, but reactivation is not guaranteed. Once a phone number is released, it may not be recoverable, and another business or individual may subsequently receive that number from the provider.

7. Reactivation and Failed Payments

If your account is canceled or suspended, you may request reactivation prior to the release of any Catchwise-provided number. Reactivation may require support review and may be subject to account status, billing status, compliance status, provider limitations, abuse, fraud, or security concerns, whether the number has already been released, and whether Catchwise can safely restore the account. Catchwise reserves the right to deny reactivation in its sole discretion. In the event of a failed payment, Catchwise may suspend access, retry the payment method, downgrade the account, cancel the subscription, or release provisioned phone numbers and features.

8. Refunds

Except as expressly required by applicable law or set forth in a separate written agreement, all subscription fees and payments are strictly non-refundable. Catchwise reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to issue a refund, partial refund, or account credit in exceptional circumstances. The issuance of any discretionary refund or credit does not constitute a waiver of this Policy and shall not create any obligation or expectation of future refunds or credits.

Catchwise may consider a refund or credit for: duplicate charges, clear billing errors, or a paid account that was charged but not provisioned due to a Catchwise-controlled issue. Refunds are generally not provided for: forgetting to cancel before a renewal date, not using the service during a paid period, customer setup issues where Catchwise was available but not connected or tested by the customer, third-party provider issues outside Catchwise's reasonable control, or leads or messages not captured due to configuration, forwarding, carrier, provider, spam filter, or customer setup issues.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your payment provider, Catchwise may suspend account access while the dispute is under review. You are encouraged to contact support@catchwise.app first if you believe there was a billing error, as many issues can be resolved without a formal dispute. Initiating an improper, fraudulent, or bad-faith chargeback may result in Catchwise suspending or terminating access, pursuing amounts owed, and preserving records for dispute resolution.

10. Data After Cancellation

Catchwise may retain account, business, lead, support, billing, provider event, diagnostic, attribution, and system log data after cancellation for operational, legal, security, fraud-prevention, support, tax, accounting, provider, and recordkeeping purposes. You may request export, access, correction, or deletion of certain data by contacting support, subject to applicable legal, operational, provider, backup, security, billing, and retention limitations.
