Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the permitted and prohibited uses of Catchwise. This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Catchwise Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
1. Lawful Business Use Only
Catchwise may only be used for lawful business purposes. You may not use Catchwise to violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, provider rule, carrier requirement, privacy rule, tax rule, communications law, marketing regulation, or third-party
right. If you operate in legal, medical, financial, insurance, debt collection, real estate, home services, or other regulated sectors, you are solely responsible for complying with all sector-specific rules and regulations.
2. Prohibition on Spam and Unwanted Messaging
You may not use Catchwise to send, support, organize, or automate spam, unsolicited marketing, deceptive messages, harassing or abusive messages, messages to individuals who have opted out or withdrawn consent, bulk messaging that violates provider or carrier rules, or messages that conceal, misrepresent, or fail to identify the sender where identification is required by law.
3. Consent and Communication Compliance
You are solely responsible for obtaining, tracking, and honoring any consent required to call, text, email, or otherwise contact leads or customers. You must strictly honor all opt-out, unsubscribe, STOP, do-not-contact, and similar requests in compliance with applicable law. Catchwise may disable messaging or auto-response features if consent, opt-out, A2P/10DLC, carrier, provider, or legal requirements are not satisfied.
4. Prohibition on Fraud, Impersonation, and Deception
You may not impersonate another person or business; mislead individuals about the identity of the party contacting them; operate scams or fraudulent offers; collect information under false pretenses; use Catchwise-provided phone numbers, forms, or intake email addresses deceptively; or create fake businesses, fake leads, fake accounts, or fake support issues.
5. Prohibition on Abusive or Harmful Content
You are strictly prohibited from using Catchwise to collect, transmit, store, or process any content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, exploitative, defamatory, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, related to unlawful goods, services, or activities, or designed to circumvent or evade any provider, carrier, or platform rules and policies.
6. Prohibition on High-Risk and Sensitive Information
Catchwise is designed for ordinary lead capture and follow-up. You must not use Catchwise to collect or store sensitive information unless clearly necessary and lawful for your business. You must not submit unnecessary Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, payment card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, medical or health information, children's information, biometric data, highly sensitive personal information, or government identification numbers. You must not use Catchwise for emergency services, health diagnosis or treatment intake, or regulated communications unless specifically approved by Catchwise in writing, where Catchwise chooses to permit the use case.
7. Prohibition on Platform Abuse
You may not probe, scan, attack, or test Catchwise systems without prior written authorization; interfere with service operations; attempt to access another customer's data; bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or restrictions; reverse engineer the service except where expressly permitted by applicable law; scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the service; upload malware or harmful code; use automation to overload or abuse Catchwise; or abuse public forms, intake email addresses, support forms, or phone and SMS endpoints.
8. Prohibition on Billing and Number Provisioning Abuse
Catchwise-provided phone numbers are for legitimate business lead capture only. You may not use Catchwise to obtain numbers for unrelated purposes, resale, spam, fraud, evasion, testing abuse, or carrier-policy violations. You may not provide false billing, business, tax, or location information; abuse trials, promotions, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, or reactivation processes; use stolen payment methods; or evade applicable taxes or billing rules.
9. Enforcement
Catchwise reserves the right to investigate potential or attempted violations of this AUP and may, without prior notice: remove or restrict content; disable specific features; suspend messaging, phone features, or capture paths; suspend or terminate accounts; decline provisioning or reactivation requests; report unlawful or abusive activity to appropriate authorities; and preserve information necessary for legal, security, provider, fraud-prevention, or enforcement purposes. Catchwise may enforce this AUP based on risk signals, provider warnings, carrier feedback, complaints, or suspected violations in its sole discretion.
